So you are writing a really important mail in Hotmail but you got to leave soon, what can you do to save your job and finish it later? The answer is simple: Drafts.
Drafts are an easy and fast way to save your unfinished jobs online, without using any space on your hard disk (It will save online) so now let’s see how you can save an email as a draft.
First step, go to your main page on Hotmail.com or Outlook.com, look for the “New” button at the top left corner and click on it. You can type a receiver and add a subject, start typing text or attach a file, once you want to save your email look at the top of the page and you will see some options buttons such as Send, Insert, and Save Draft, click on this last.
And that’s it, the draft it’s saved, you can actually save it as many as you want and the progress will update. You can see the time draft was saved on the top right corner; it will say “Draft saved at XX hour”.
You can now close this page and even log out, when you return to your inbox page you can see your saved folder drafts in the left, between the Junk and the Sent folders.
By clicking on it, you will see all the drafts you’ve saved, click on one and you will return at the point you left it, ready to keep on writing.
